Yuneec electric sport airplane will silently change the way we travel
Pankaj | Jan 21 2010

If you have always wanted a helicopter but have been put off either by its carbon emissions or by the continuously rising fuel costs, you now have a better option. Enter the E430, the prototype of an electric aircraft introduced by Yuneec International, a British company working in China, who plans to mass-produce the aircraft for the global market and deliver it by 2011. Offering two seats, the airplane fuel costs about $2 per hour of flight and maintenance costs are significantly low as compared to a piston aircraft. Priced around $89,000, this electric aircraft will silently change the way we travel.
