Yachting Developments to launch 37m fast cruising yacht
Nandini | Oct 3 2009

For those uber-rich who prefer to travel in leisure, but have taken the route of luxury yacht charter rather than buying a new one in the recession, Yachting Developments has unveiled their latest, a 37m cruising yacht that’s claimed to be the Southern Hemisphere’s largest composite sloop. The yacht will feature 48.3m carbon fiber mast from Hall Spars NZ, while Doyle Sails NZ is supplying a suit of its latest generation “stratis” sails, one of the first sets to be built with its new membrane forming equipment at its new Avondale loft. The yacht reflects a modern silhouette with clean lines, spacious interiors and striking finish.

The interiors feature custom glass pieces and specialist paint finishes with textured leather and shagreen wrapped panels. The cabins have been designed for maximum versatility and flexibility to accommodate your guests. The double berths in the port and starboard guest cabins can be turned into twin berths and the full width master cabin can be portioned off to create a smaller master cabin plus twin bunk cabin arrangement. Designed by Dubois Naval Architects, the yacht is currently under construction at Yachting Developments’ Hobsonville facility in Auckland.
