Volkswagen debuts its new hot car, carbon-fiber EcoRacer prototype at the Tokyo Auto Show this week. The swanky sports car boasts a top speed of 143 mph and runs 69 miles per gallon. The German automaker quoted it as, ‘the car designed to serve as a technology test bed.’ The car is powered by a 1.5 liter, direct-injection, turbodiesel engine with 134 hp. The car features T-bar roof, 17 inch aluminum alloy wheels and has flexibility to transform into different body styles. So, thumbs-up to Volkswagen EcoRacer with excellent gas mileage!
