T.T. Trunks, the maker of the stylish Malle Mini-Bar, is presenting the new Van Cleef and Arpels’ trunk at the upcoming Arts and Crafts exhibition at Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi. The exhibition dedicated to French fine arts and crafts runs between May 23 and May 25, 2009. The Van Cleef and Arpels’ trunk has been specially designed and crafted for the launch of the perfume “Féerie.” The dark blue ostrich leather covering the external parts of the trunk reminds me of the color of the perfume bottle. The silver color goat leather covering the inside was specially selected by Van Cleef and Arpels. The firm’s current production comprises the Mini-Bar Trunk and the Wardrobe Trunk available in “Hotel Concept” and “Luxury Concept” designs. Their catalog will soon include new items, such as the Cigar Trunk, Wine Trunk, Cat Valet Trunk, Business Center Trunk and the Shisha trunk.
The exhibition has been organized by the French ambassador in Abu Dhabi on the occasion of President Sarkozy’s visit to the United Arab Emirates. The Arts and Crafts exhibition is taking place as part of the “French Season” and will showcase exceptional pieces in the fields of interior decor, tableware, painting, lighting, iron work, decorative objects and accessories.
