The car that changed it all for Ford was the 1964 Ford Mustang convertible (also referred to as the 64.5). Introduced at the New York World’s Fair, it became an instant hit and an icon, giving rise to the new genre in American automotive landscape. Believed to be the very first Mustang built on the production assembly line and sold to the public, the car is for sale on eBay. The 45-year-old car is priced at $5.5 million and still looks in pretty good shape.
