Computer Bed - Just right Murphy bed for the geeks!
Vinod | Mar 24 2008

I am not so sure if it can take the weight of your monitor, printer, scanner, speakers, etc. But one thing is sure. If you are tight on space, the Computer Bed (aka The Tale) is a perfect desk and bed combination. This computer Bed is convertible and can function both as a table and a bed. A truly compact item for a space-restricted city house. Affectionately termed as a modern Murphy Bed, the multifunctional item features gas pistons to ensure that your gear does not tumble all over during the conversion process from bed to desk and desk to bed. The computer bed also serves as a low-cost space heater at night by positioning you directly above your toasty equipment. Feeling sleepy while working on your laptop, it takes only less than 30 seconds to convert your product into a bed. There you have it, your cozy bed.

In my opinion, this seems a little pricey considering the size of the product. Nonetheless, this is the best you can get when you are constrained by space and inability to building up a desk cum bed on your own. This product work well for city dwellers and students who live in dorms since space is an issue. What is good about the computer bed is that the wooden desk folds down to reveal a twin sized bed. Likewise the bed folds up to reveal the desk.

Although the bed is useful and practical, you have to try it to know how the sturdy it is. A well-fed person might have difficulties functioning with this and may find himself collapsing with the bed. Impressed? The Computer Bed costs $3,650. Give it a try and let us know how it is.
