SunBrite weatherproof TV invites an extreme viewing experience
Pankaj | Sep 14 2009

After size and style, you might still look for some important things in your TV, but not this time. SunBriteTV launched at CEDIA 2009 a TV that is weather-resistant, water-resistant, dirt-resistant and insect-resistant. Well, yeah insects can damage your TV, if you are one of those videophiles who take their viewing pleasures outdoors, not necessarily to make your neighbors envious, but because if you haven’t watched TV sitting in a pool, you don’t know what TV watching is. The unit is equipped with a corrosion-resistant, powder-coated aluminum exterior protects the internal TV components from harsh outdoor conditions. The panel’s contrast ratio is listed at 4,000:1. An anti-reflective, impact- and scratch-resistant window built into the exterior is said to protect the LCD screen while reducing glare and improving picture quality. But your best-looking movie doesn’t stop here. The TV remains operationally safe at temperatures up to 122 degrees and at the other extreme, TV automatically activates an internal thermostatically controlled heater if the TV’s internal temperature dips to 32 degrees for as low as 24 degrees F. So, you gotta get out and avoid settling into a boring old indoor routine.
