Stephen Sprouse graffiti skateboard to commemorate punk glamour god
Yashpal | Jan 7 2009

Honoring Stephen Sprouse, Louis Vuitton is showcasing the designer’s collection at their SoHo store in New York. The inventive and enigmatic designer who mixed graffiti and punk aesthetic with fashion was a great hit during ’80s and ’90s. The collection is a tribute to this amazing designer who passed away in 2004. The store will be exhibiting the Stephen Sprouse graffiti skateboard accompanied by a monogram hard case skateboard trunk and Stephen Sprouse Roses T-shirt. Just three graffiti skateboards with trunks for $8,250 each and 70 T-shirts for $250 each will go on sale. One of the first American designers to introduce graffiti-printed fashion collections for men and women, Sprouse challenged conventional notions of style, and his decades-old unique sensibility still influences the fashion and music worlds of the present era.

If you buy that board you’re just paying for the name brand that board is about $8,249 dollars too expensive.
