Loudspeakers genius ELAC have taken a big leap in the quest for perfect sound production. The company is all set to present a range of speakers which will be the first to use the technology of employing crystal membranes, at the IFA 2007 in Berlin.
ELAC has designed a new generation of transducer systems for low and mid-range frequencies, which use a highly rigid aluminium membrane, recognizable by their crystal-like surface. Due to this, even if the listener is not present in the room, the sound comes completely clear and natural.
The good news is that ELAC has priced the product fairly, to fit in the budget of ‘not so wealthy’ folks. They have brought out speakers starting at $679 each. The 240 series have launched the FS 249 floorstander, an additional floorstander, the FS 247, the bookshelf speakers BS 244, BS 243 and the centre speaker CC 241 for the use of home cinema.
The ELAC 240 series is a true masterpiece with an extremely wide bandwidth performance, which invigorates the room in a synchronized manner. What ever your listening position, be sure of impeccable sound!
