Working on the suggestions of their patrons, the company has fine-tuned a few features of the predecessor, the Hawker 400XP. Hawker engineers have not only tweaked the engines to perform better using lesser fuel, but also focused on pulling off a longer range and faster climbs with ease.
Powered by the Pratt & Whitney Canada PW535D turbofan engines, the Hawker 450XP supports high-tech safety features. The latest from the Hawker fold also boasts of all the techie specs that are essential for conducting business activities in the air. Thus, they boast of a 10-inch high-definition monitor, home theater system and USB connectors among a whole host of high-tech features.
The interiors of the flights are plush and comfortable. Based on the interior of the 900XP, the company touts it as “the best equipped cabin ever offered in a light jet.”
Sounds good, right? If you can’t wait to get your hands on this beauty - you will have to be hold it a while, as the first flight of this aircraft is scheduled to hit the market only in the second quarter of 2009.
