Kayaking is fun but, at 25 mph, it’s more than just kayaking. If you avoid the extreme fun just because you don’t like to paddle, Surfango has specially built the PowerKayak, which is power-driven by an electric-start 9.5hp four-stroke engine positioned on the back. The kayak swaps the paddle power for a 9.5hp engine to deliver thrilling top speed of 25 mph. The PowerKayak comes in two versions, the Hawaii and Adventurer. The former is an open-top version while the Adventurer is fully enclosed with top speed up to 28mph, thanks to superior aerodynamics.
Both the models are equipped with waterproof storage compartments, fishing rod holders and an on-board digital dashboard displaying your engine RPM, battery level, coolant temperature and petrol gauge. An innovative ‘weedcutter’ device lets you use the Poerkayaks in sea-weedy water too. Weighing around 120 pounds, these water beasts sell for US $2899.
