Platform21 - Fantasy fleet of cars of the future
Naveen | Jan 22 2008

Platform21 exhibition in Amsterdam focuses on contemporary issues and topics that will be of relevance in the future. The Platform21 = Joyriding exhibition is not just a car show but an aesthetic joyride. It’s about form and feeling rather than engineering. The amazing imaginary cars, some of which are dreamt up by graduates of London’s Royal College of Art, remind us that the automotive design can still take our breath away and keep us curious about the future. The exhibition brings together animated visions of concept cars, scale models of vehicles that will make you think differently about cars, and designer-pimped remote-controlled rides. Although, the concept cars shown at the show don’t look practical, they do look stunning. Up on display will be Hugo Vrijdag’s eMotio, a three-wheeled car you drive by shifting your weight from one side to the other, Jose Ramon Lopez Gonzalo’s miniature model of The New Gypsies, and Ehsan Moghaddampour’s model of his Bugiman, a car made for riding through the desert. The exhibition runs from November 18, 2007 to February 3, 2008. Check out the pictures of these cutesy concept cars after the jump.

Are those just and still part of a plan? These are cool. Are those electric or still requires some fuels?Of course, design can be the first part you can judge in a vehicle. Impression would be good if you have a cool car style. And if ever, hope this rides can improve my gas mileage. As we all know luxurious and cool vehicles are gas-guzzling ones. Wish this one is different.
