This cool concept of Plasma Screen Fireplace knocked me off completely! I bet you too would never have thought of such an innovative concept of fireplace! But the guys over at Picture House made it come true. The ‘Beachcomber’ Plasma TV Fireplace is an award-winning British invention that has integrated a Plasma TV with fireplace.
Its perfectly in tune with the push-button hiding concept! When the screen is not in use it slides away inside the fireplace and at the touch of a button on the remote control, it hoods-up to viewing height. And, there is no extra baggage of wires and all! And, if you are worrying about the effect of the heat generated by the fireplace, then chill! Because the heat from the fire pushes forward that keeps your Plasma screen unaffected. The Beachcomber fireplace has a blue flame fire and is finished to look and feel like solid stone with a wave pattern of Cornish beach pebble at the top corner to give it a complete beach theme. The modern design fireplace retailers have other great options too to suit your choice.
The fireplace is priced at £2140 and the price does not include the Plasma TV. The Plasma TV Fireplaces are available in a range of color options and you also have a choice of lava rock, pebbles or glass marbles.
