Design met technical innovation as Electrolux collaborated with Swedish designer Pia Wallen to create this special limited edition model of one of the most successful home appliance in the world. The electronics giants invited the designer to manufacture her own interpretation of the world’s quietest vacuum cleaner the Ultrasilencer and the result was simply stunning. Though some may find the extra-long hose a bit of a storage challenge, but the robot-like machine is quite outstanding in its simplicity and more than makes up for the unit’s verticality. The Ultrasilencer is currently available in stores across Scandinavia and the U.K.

An excellent vacuum cleaner. Too bad the white Wallen-version is not for general sale I think. I own a dark blueish version of the same vacuum cleaner though and it sure is silent and effective. I wonder what the white cleaner will look after bumping into corners and furniture a couple of times..
