Palmer Johnson joins the megayacht fleet with a Sportyacht series
Pankaj | Mar 6 2010

As we could see the first tangible signs of high-end consumers getting back into the spending spree with the demand for bigger and more modern boats, it should come as no surprise that Palmer Johnson has added a 210-foot addition to the fleet while construction continues on two 170-foot versions of Palmer Johnson’s Sportyacht series. Giving finishing touches to the already-sold first hull, the PJ210 combines both the sporty style with the covered deck spaces of a tri-deck, offering plenty of sunshine and shade. With the interior and exterior styling by Nuvolari-Lenard, the PJ210 offers an indoor space with a theater, two salons and a formal dining area. The mega structure can accommodate 12 guests and 14 crew in four guest staterooms in the lower deck along with a gym, sauna, terrace, master suite graced with huge windows and a fold-down balcony in the main deck. Equipped with PJ210’s two MTU 16V 4000 diesel engines, the PJ210 can propel at a maximum speed of 28 knots. With all the luxuries at place, Palmer Johnson can’t miss out on customizable options. The yacht also offers plans for two swimming pools, one on the aft deck and one on the foredeck along with a sliding mechanism to cover the foredeck pool for a helicopter landing. Palmer Johnson is expecting the first delivery in spring 2011.
