Outpost Kitchen: Futuristic kitchen for the offices
Naveen | Jun 27 2007

This futuristic kitchen has been designed by Simon Kingston and James Rennick for German kitchen and appliance manufacturer Miele. Dubbed the Outpost Kitchen, the modular kitchen unit is meant for offices and all the units have been assembled to suit the needs of an office. The specially designed attachments can further extend the kitchen’s efficacy by adding additional table tops and seating. This system has been designed in a view to avoid unhealthy desktop dining and offer the employees a place to eat and relax. It features 2 specially designed boxes, which are proportioned to offer place for a number of Miele appliances. It also features an induction tea set, Bic-Biro cutlery, desktop dining booklet and inbox/outbox fruitbox. The Outpost Kitchen is just a concept at the moment but once it meets realism, I am sure it won’t come cheap.
