We have seen a number of eco-friendly roadsters earlier but the new FuelVapor Ale sportscar otsrips each and everyone with its sexy looks. The ultra-low emissions three-wheeler boasts grip of up to 1.7G and can get to the speeds of 62 mph in five seconds and return 92 mpg. The beauty runs on fuel vapor rather than on liquid gas thereby using about one-third the normal amount of fuel for a car of its kind.
The car easily attains the level of ultra low emissions with a 30% reduction in CO2. I doubt if it will be able to break the 100 mpg barrier. Anyway, the FuelVapor Ale will be produced in limited run and is expected to be on sale in 2008. Pricing hasn’t been confirmed yet.
