Mysterious INCOGNITO 2008 watch sells for 400,000 Euros
Naveen | Sep 25 2007

The INCOGNITO 2008 watch was sold under the hammer for 400,000 Euros but was not presented to the bidders. Shown at the Only Watch auction in Monaco, the INCOGNITO 2008 is a unique watchmaking concept from the House of DeWitt developed with architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte. This is for the very first time that an invisible watch received such a strong bidding that started off at 100,000 Euros. The DeWitt creation was brought by Mr. Jimmy Tan, one of the best-known Hong Kong distributors of Haute Horlogerie. The watch will be delivered to the buyer early in 2008.

The watch comes with a flying tourbillon regulator adorned with a 21-day power reserve. The supporting structure of the mechanism is made from a lithium-aluminum alloy, which is framed by a extravagant exterior crafted from distinctive materials. This is all we know about this mysterious watch at the moment.
