We have earlier told you about some amazing hi-tech beds that feature from built-in TV to built-in modem. Now, a designer Kaffe Matthews has designed a musical bed titled ‘Sonic Bed‘ that is equipped with built-in loudspeakers. The designer aims at concentrating on making music to feel rather than just listen to. When a visitor lie down on it, an endless loop of sounds washes over them. Due to their frequency and intensity, these sounds are perceived with the entire body for a very pleasant experience. The project titled Music for Bodies is a research project linking the sonic mapping of human bodies to architecture. The bed features wooden side panels, multi channel sound system and 220V mains electricity.
