The luxury-phone segment seems to be getting hotter with more theme-based high-end products. The 350 Pioneer by a Canadian-based luxury mobile phone maker, Mobiado will join Vertu’s space-themed luxury phone. The 350 Pioneer body is CNC machined from spacecraft aluminum, and clear anodized to produce an exclusive hard surface. The frame is then inlaid with sapphire crystal, and the infrared window is made from a solid piece of ruby crystal. While the buttons are a combination of sapphire crystal and stainless steel, the screws are gold-plated stainless steel. Production limited to just 37 units signifies years the Pioneer 10 spacecraft has been traveling through space. The phone is equipped with multimedia capabilities, a 3.2 megapixel camera, a 2.36″ 16 million colors display, integrated GPS, and Bluetooth and micro USB connectivity.
