For those filthy rich bike lovers constrained by guilt, but still riding their oil-guzzlers, the Mission One motorcycle will grant you nirvana! Mission Motors claims it to be the world’s fastest 100% electric production motorcycle. The sporty design comes from Yves Behar of OLPC fame and was unveiled at the TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) conference. The eco-friendly bike boasts a top speed of 150 mph and an estimated range of 150 miles. The first 50 bikes produced will be a special limited edition that will be out in 2010 and will cost $68,995, while a standard and more affordable version will be announced this summer.
