No, we are not promoting any conspiracy theory, but Michael Jackson had 3D scans taken of his body, believed to build a virtual reality double of himself. The 3D scan data has been put on sale on eBay by an anonymous U.S businessman, who claims to have these scans from 1996, when MJ was 37 years old. The anonymous seller asking $1.5m, says this data was collected using the same equipment that creates the data used to create video games or CGI avatars to make him speak, laugh, sing or dance. Given MJ’s reputation of surprising us with his financial, legal and medical woes for years, this could have been the biggest of them all before “This is It.”
