Made for iPod refrigerator from Gorenje breaks the ice

And I thought that my iPod could only dole out my favorite numbers. All iPod users can rejoice as their music player has just been tweaked to run your house chores too. Teaming up with Apple, Gorenje has freezed the idea of the Made for iPod refrigerator. Though we have seen many refrigerators that flaunt a multimedia feature to listen to music, watch TV or even surf net, this kinda Apple certified refrigerator is first of its kind. Making its appearance at the world’s largest consumer electronics fair IFA 2008 in Berlin, the Made for iPod refrigerator fuses the fun element with task operation. Featuring a built-in iPod docking station and speakers, you can play music and video and connect to the internet via a Wi-Fi network.

Gizmodo states that by integrating the iGorenj feature, it is possible to control all kinds of Gorenje appliances like the washing machine and oven as the feature allows the user to program these devices by a user-friendly graphical interface. However, this luxury is not built for iPhone/iPod touch users as it is served from a home server that controls the appliances directly.

The refrigerator is a stunner with its tall, dark, handsome appearance and the ability to officially harmonize with iPod.
