Hulme Supercar to Hit the Market in 2008

The Hulme Supercars Limited, a New Zealand registered company, is confident of making a mark in the competitive international Supercar market, with its latest venture the ‘Hulme’. It is expected to be produced in 2008, as a tribute to New Zealand’s lone formula One World Champion, Danny Hulme.

The eye-popping racing machine is designed for the road, powered by a BMW 5.0L V8 engine, and boasts of a 550 horsepower. The 1175 kg Hulme, is a mid-engine designed car with a high performance chassis, wrapped in a carbon fiber body, which gives the feel of driving a Formula One Car.

The terrific road monster is meant to seat two and will initially be offered in the U.K. and German markets. If you have decided to speed away in one of the cars, do land up in time once the thing is out, for the company will produce a limited run of 25 cars a year. Phew! Before you wind up, hear about the price dude...It’s a staggering $620K!
