A blaster gun, with which Harrison Ford was killing futuristic humanoids in the 1982 sci-fi movie “Blade Runner,” will be auctioned off at an upcoming sale of Hollywood memorabilia. The “Blade Runner” blaster gun is expected to sell for between $100,000 and $150,000. Said to be the “Holy Grail” of sci-fi weapons by auctioneer Profiles in History, this blaster gun has been put on the auction block by Hollywood marketer and producer Jeff Walker. The movie was widely appreciated, but it only managed to earn just under $33 million at the box office. Other items from the “Blade Runner” collection up for grabs include costumes worn by Ford in the movie. Profiles in History are expecting about $3 million in total sales from the auction, which includes the collection of horror and science fiction promoter Forrest Ackerman and an animation puppet from the movie “Corpse Bride.”

From the auction page:

Only one hero firing weapon was made for the production, which was created by mating a Steyr-Mannlicher Model .222 SL receiver onto a Charter Arms .44 police bulldog double-action revolver. It features custom amber grips, dual triggers, and futuristic illuminating LEDs (four red and two green) that can be activated by a small switch mounted beneath the barrel.
