Conforming to the latest trend in workstation tables is this sleek “Communication station” concept from Finnish design student Hannes Vaht, which features separate divisions to hide your laptop and traditional tools. The sleek desk is designed to offer organized yet limited storage to take a stand against work holism. “Its purpose is to remind us to keep in control and not to let the work control us (out of sight out of mind).” The front part consists of a drawer for office stationery, and the back part is a pop-up container for a laptop or digital tablet.
The desk is crafted in birch veneer and laminated veneer lumber, and if it becomes real, it will be available in black and white.
