Guer Man ‘Time Keeper’ has an exclusive wood face
Pankaj | Dec 1 2009

We are yet to see the competitive level of innovation in watchmaking as put on stage by Guer Man. There is an obvious vitality exuded by both the technical and the design in their “time-keeper.” The new Guer Man Trace watch is the result of a collaboration between an artist and engineer, who used a giant log of wood as the watch box and case. This innovative idea might secure them a place in the weird archives of any library, but if given attention to their theme behind the watch-making, it naturally brings out the exclusivity with which the time-keeper is made. The concept of this “time-keeper” is to have an innovative and traditional style utilizing noble, precious and natural materials and the use of log as case just proves the artistic creation, as no two logs would look the same. In order to give life to this timepiece, Guer Man has integrated Swiss-made automatic ETA 2789 movement for extended reliability. The personalized rotor has the gilded “Guer Man” logo along with a high quality ruby on its center above the black engraving at 12 o’clock. The screws of the rotor and the bridges are in massif 18k gold.
