Well, you might have tasted the Fortress Aquamarine for $14,500, which was the world’s most expensive desert till yesterday. Now, a local restaurateur in New York unveiled a $25,000 chocolate sundae on Wednesday and set a new Guinness world record for the most expensive dessert. The ‘Frrozen Haute Chocolate’ is a fine blend of 28 cocoas, including 14 of the most expensive and exotic from all around the world. The $25,000 chocolate sundae has been made by Stephen Bruce, owner of Serendipity 3 restaurant in partnership with luxury jeweler Euphoria New York.
The dessert is adorned with 5 grams of edible 23-karat gold and is dished up in a goblet lined with edible gold. The base of the goblet is an 18-karat gold bracelet with 1 carat of white diamonds. The dessert is eaten with a gold spoon decorated with white and chocolate-colored diamonds, which can also be taken home.
