According to its creator, the Fire Hat II was inspired by his own hat, which he says he wears at Burning Man, probably while shouting at people on top of a fake drakkar. The copper flame tubes are raised above the helmet so that there is no heat transfer from the tubes to the helmet, so apparently there’s no risk that all the silver plastic would melt onto your skull. In addition, this fire hat has on/off valve as well as adjustable valve to set flame height and burst action.
