Didn’t the bid exceed the limit heftily? $3.19 million is what it eventually fetched for the Pebble Beach charity at an auction sponsored by Gooding & Company. This was the first of the 150 exclusive models to be made by the people over at Bugatti. The ones to follow will cost the buyer lesser (in comparison with the first one sold) at $1.4 million each, and that understandably would be a more feasible one to buy, if only you aren’t the type that prefers bragging about exclusivity. Also, this for me becomes the most expensive topless car ever to be sold, though an official confirmation is still awaited.
