If you are a sports car lover and follow Formula 1 racing then perhaps you should consider making a once in a lifetime trip to this London-based Puma store, where the store is giving the public a chance to get up close to an F1 race car. The car made from 1,999 items of designer clothing worth $64,000 — including 1,682 T-shirts, 88 pairs of jeans, 64 pairs of shoes and 31 belts — took five hours for a team of eight people to complete it. The wheels wrapped in black jeans are made from water bottles, the wing mirror from sunglasses and the harness from a backpack; and the classic Ferrari color comes from red T-shirts. Well, this impressive objet d’art might be a treat for Formula 1 fans but for art lovers it’s not that bad a deal to jostle with shoppers for a brief museum experience.
