Drive your way in arcade driving game
Pankaj | Nov 11 2009

Game machines from decades past have suddenly gone decades ahead with Garnet Hertz’s OutRun project. The OutRun project has combined the real world with Sega’s seminal racing game by converting the 1986 sit-down arcade cabinet into a small, drivable car with a max speed of 20 miles per hour. Arcade machine modeled after a 1984 Ferrari Testarossa, will be installed with wheels, motors and equipment and GPS sensors to actually run the arcade cabinet like a car that renders on-screen what’s happening in real life. Before it is stuffed with all the necessary gears to reach speeds up to 20mph, Garnet will be testing this so that you’re completely convinced of his success. We wish him luck!
