Digg it Diggers - Digg case mod up for auction at eBay
Naveen | Sep 18 2007

A few days back, we were talking about gold plated MacBook pro with diamond Apple logo from ComputerChoppers. The same party finished an interesting one-off project in April 2007. The same thing has now reached eBay for auction. I am talking about the Digg case mod that was modeled from the Digg logo (famed social news website). It has been used as a show-computer piece for most of the summer at various computer events in the northwest. It has just about 30 hours of use on it in total.

The case is fabricated from the ground up using MDF (fiberboard) and has been finished with a blue pearl custom paint job. The letters on the front of the case light up in blue and can be switched off and on at any time. A newsreader under the lettering takes the top news stories from Digg.com and displays them on the front of the case.

The system is in excellent working condition and except for two or three scratches, the paint looks great. The starting bid for the computer system is US $2,500. All the diggers must be eyeing this unique Digg case mod and I am sure it will fetch some good bucks.
