Diamond and crystal studded mobile phones are not a new thing to us at BornRich, but it’s really good to see Japan’s Softbank Mobile unveiling a line of diamond studded cellphones in the global financial meltdown situation. The Softbank 823SH Tiffany phone comes encrusted with 537 (18.34 carat) diamonds. The glittering phone will retail for 12.98 million yen, which comes out to approximately US $132,140. The display of the phone has been designed by the famed New York jeweler. Japanese actress Aya Ueto (pictured above) is holding Softbank’s sparkling Tiffany mobile phone. Only 10 units have been put into production, so you need to hurry to get one for yourself. Anyway, the 823SH Tiffany looks like the $94,000 diamond-studded cellphone we spotted back in January.
