Yesterday, we told you about the luxury interiors of the new Airbus A380, but the US leisure travelers were missing the luxurious experience like Etihad Airways provides to its luxury travelers. But, Delta will be now the first U.S. Carrier to announce true lie-flat seats in international business class. The fully-horizontal personal sleeper suites will feature Delta’s industry-leading entertainment system offering on-demand, digital video and music at every suite, a reclining seat that converts to a 6-foot 3-inch bed, a privacy screen incorporating pull-out meal table, fold-out video monitor and integrated footrest and personal stowage compartment for personal stuff.
The elite seating will be introduced in early 2008. Additionally, BusinessElite customers will also enjoy new innovative food offerings from celebrity chef Michelle Bernstein, award-winning, original wines, and in-seat entertainment boasting a suite of 12 video games.

good to see that delta is catching up, but its nothing really new. Also, its only worth getting these seats if you travel to somewhere over 5 hours away. I see that mr. anonymous coward wanted to try and show off by telling us he flew business class several times to europe.

i have flown a few times, and i would love something like this on the long flights. and there is no point now to fly first class as its just as good flying buissness class. exept, it costs less so more money to spend on clothes!
