Datamancer's latest Steampunk IBM keyboard is bit feminine!
Naveen | Nov 3 2008

We have always admired the stunning creations coming out of the steampunk workshops. Steampunk mania is on its way with the entry of the new IBM Model M-15 Ergo Keyboard at Datamancer. This keyboard was custom-built for a female client. The keyboard touts some elegant, feminine design features such as violet LEDs, an acanthus-leaf pattern etched into the brass, and a soft burgundy wrist pad, which can be removed for cleaning. It also comes with a built-in buttonless touchpad mouse positioned in the center. The most interesting thing about the keyboard is that the typing plane is in fact tipped forward rather than back. It might look abnormal to many of us, but it really makes for a very comfortable typing position. If you have been following the steampunk craze, you might have seen a range of stylish steampunk-ish keyboards, but this very rare Datamancer Ergo appears to steal all the charm.
