With all wealth at your disposal, you might not get a chance to experience the grace and aura of the kings and knights in the modern era, but if you are one of those die-hard Rolls-Royce fans, you may well have an opportunity to have a feel of the treasured sophistication of the knighthood. For the owner of the museum dedicated to the famed marque in Mühlheim/Main (Germany), Hans-Günther Zach, is putting his classic car collection, which also includes the renowned “Star of India,” on sale. A one-off 1934 Phantom II 40/50 HP Continental “All-Weather Convertible,” the legendary vehicle was custom made for the Maharaja of Rajkot. Priced at €10 million (about $14,138,000), if the Star of India vends for something closer to the expected price, it would then be the most expensive car in the world.
