There have been many art works inspired by and dedicated to the Messiah we know as Jesus, but there’s one that stands out among the crowd. “Infinite Hope” by Quinn Gregory is a sculpture exactly the size of Jesus, (5’3”) primarily made of wood, foam and crystals. The sculpture took 4 ½ months to take shape of 5’3” skeleton in copper and then painting the same in metallic paint to give a metal look while avoiding the weight of a metal sculpture. The artist’s faith and belief in God has been best expressed as he took to the real work of making this sculpture stand out by encrusting Jesus with almost 250,000 Swarovski crystals. The hard work of 10 more months to fully embellish the Messiah has successfully brought strength to the artist who is also fighting with a rare heart disease. This sculpture is proof that faith is best expressed in deeds but not in words.
Thanks Quinn! We wish you a fast recovery and hope to see more of your artistic masterpieces.
