International award-winning designer Phil Frank, who is well known for his supercar designs, launched an innovative line of limited edition carbon fiber PFD Spyder Tables last year. I am not sure if these carbon fiber tables are still available, but they look elegant enough to appeal to any auto lover. Frank’s goal with the Spyder Tables was to define the convergence point between furniture, automotive sculpture and material innovation. Only 100 units of the PFD Spyder Tables were said to go into production, with each personally inspected, serialized and signed by Phil Frank. Discerning supercar owners can even request that the custom-serialized table matches the build number of their vehicle. Mr. Frank himself sculpted the Spyder Tables with advanced automotive surfacing software.
The two carbon fiber table variants available internationally are the 2323 Spyder, a 20-inch tall end table and the 2553 Spyder, a 16-inch tall coffee table, priced between $7,500 and $10,000. The elegance of the polished carbon fiber makes the PFD Spyder Tables a real masterwork, and they will be a valued addition to any home, office or exotic car garage.
