Niclas Kingston, founder and CEO of Gold Platinum Scandinavia AB, got the idea of creating these blinged iPods after he saw an iPod with Swarovski crystals engraved during one of his visits to London. The three versions offered by the firm are BeOriginal, BeGold and the BeSport. The BeOriginal model (120GB) comes adorned with 24 carat gold plating, Swarovski crystals and an engraved statement. The Begold (8-32GB) is highlighted with gold plating and an engraved statement. Finally, the BeSport version (4GB) sports over 100 pieces of laser-precision Swarovski crystals. Every custom creation by Guldplatina comes with a one-year restoration guarantee.
