Black Widow table draws inspiration from race cars
Pankaj | Sep 25 2009

Drawing inspiration from speed, Aznom’s Black Widow table is using race car technology as well as materials. The Black Widow table is made from aluminum, glass and carbon fiber that match innovative design and strong engineering contents. While the name might suggest that the designers have drawn inspiration from an insect, the combination of a futuristic bold design with carbon fiber shares very little resemblance with the name itself. Buying a line from sailboat construction, each aluminum leg is supported by a central structural carbon-beam that connects to the “spine” of the Black Widow for ultimate sturdiness that helps in holding such thick glass with convenience. Enhancing the table’s luxurious style, Aznom has covered the lower halves of each leg with carbon fiber. Priced at $19,000, the Black Widow will definitely appeal to the upcoming customer generation.
