Now that’s what I call innovation! This is one of the best space-saving pieces of furniture I have come across lately. It is the brainchild of the renowned design studio Décadrages and christened the BedUp. Now that most of us ordinary creatures live in tiny apartments and are always pressed for space, this one comes as a blessing. A bed takes up the maximum space in a room. It also saves the maximum space. The BedUp effectively conserves 4 square meters of valuable space. When you don’t need the bed, it patiently waits on the ceiling. You can set up your desk etc. underneath it, and carry on with your usual work. At night, when you do require its services, puling a handle would make it come down as obediently as an elevator and stop at a previously fixed height from the ground, so that you are spared the hassle of pushing and pulling furniture from under the bed. That mans you can freely leave your desk or whatever furniture you used during the day, underneath the bed at night. As a bonus, the bed is of a super-modern design and sports an elegant, comfortable appearance. Two thick strips would connect the bed to the ceiling, but that only adds to the glamor of the bed. Talk of practice and design, it offers a real sense of space and comfort.
