German inventor and entrepreneur Sebastian Schmitt has put together the nice little BBQ-Donut, which is innovative enough to do a whole load of things. This electricity powered floating contraption floats at a tortoise-like 4 kmph, which makes it just ideal for a bunch of people ganging up for a nice little lunchie or simply just enjoying a friendly float around the lake. The ten-seater BBQ-Donut is made of tough polyethylene and measures about three and a half meters in diameter. To lug around its bulk of 500 kilos, it has an Torqueedo Travel 400 electric motor. Around ten people can get on the BBQ-Donut, which has a charcoal BBQ table on board. This makes the BBQ-Donut a very neat option for a relaxed fishing gig and also conjuring up some BBQ’d fish on the trot.
The cutlery goes into the smart cavities that line the table and you have plenty of storage under your seats too. To add a dash of music, the BBQ-Donut has a powerful sound system on board. With all these nifty features, the BBQ-Donut looks like one very innovative leisure craft that may soon become the rage on waterfronts across the world.
