Barbie-themed football table will appeal to both sexes, maybe
Nandini | Jun 11 2009

Ever since Barbie was introduced on March 9, 1959 by Mattel, it’s being perceived as a ideal symbol of femininity, but French designer Chloe Ruchon plans to make it a hit with the opposite sex with his innovative football table concept called “barbiefoot,” traditionally called “babyfoot” in France. The pink table combines the iconic doll with table football. And, just as you would expect, it’s created in partnership with Mattel brands consumer products and babyfoot bonzini. Barbiefoot was unveiled at the DMY youngsters exhibition at DMY berlin design festival 09. So guys, what say you? Even if it’s not exactly what you would expect in your football table, it sure would help you trick your girlfriend into playing football.
