Earlier we covered handcrafted luxury timepieces manufactured by Angular Momentum of Switzerland. Now, wishing everyone an interesting and successful new year, the manufacturer bestows us with the “Porcelain Medallion,” the very first luxury timepiece of the year 2009. The unique timepiece carries not only a conventional watch crystal but a medallion made of the finest white porcelain with a multi-color underglaze painting of a couple dressed in Rococo costumes. One of Angular Momentum’s new “Medallion Collection” created and manufactured as a one-of-the-kind piece for a fashion designer in France is hand painted with gold aperture for digital time display showing the hours only. A mechanical self-winding lever movement, alligator strap, satin finished stainless steel, screwed back and screw-locked crown with black enamel logo inlay contribute to the innovative design of the Swiss watchmaker’s hand-sculpted watch.
