In an interesting move last year, Japanese carrier All Nippon Airways started asking its passengers to visit the lavatory before boarding, in order to reduce the airline’s carbon footprint. This year, the airline is ready to do something big and unique, which is going to make all the beer lovers happy. ANA has announced that it will be the first airline ever to offer beer on tap during flights. Specialized kegs will be installed on the aircraft. The in-flight beer dispenser will be made available on domestic flights in Japan only. A cup of beer from the in-flight keg will cost beer lovers ¥1,000 (approx. US $11.30). Only 20 cups of draft beer will be available per flight, except the Tokyo – Okinawa flights with 40 cups. Now, when they are serving draft beer during the flights, they shouldn’t ask passengers to empty their bladders before flying.
