Now, up for auction at eBay is a hand-built replica Steampunk powered monocycle from the Victorian era. The 1873 monocycle replica has been created by a Spaniard using 19th Century documentation and old-fashioned handcrafting techniques. The engineering marvel has a 6.16-foot wheel, with a 238-teeth inner segment. Different steel alloys have been used for different parts of the mechanism. The bidding price for this unique monocycle replica starts at $13,000. Personally, I don’t think it’s a heavy amount for such a mechanical and engineering spectacle.
