Air Shadow ceiling fan hides its blades when not in use
Naveen | Jan 2 2008

Hiding electronics around the house in an artistic way has become one of the hottest trends in interior design. We are all praise for TV cabinets, pop-up TV beds, and other such accessories. What say about having the same kind of functionality in your ceiling fan? Sounds cool! The Air Shadow 4-blade ceiling fan from Fanimation automatically retracts its blades when not in use. Perfect for transitional or traditional interior, the Air Shadow ceiling fan collection offers a range of fans, including oil-rubbed bronze, aged bronze, pewter and chrome finishes. The blades can also be had in a cherry or maple wood finish. Although the retractable blades are visible even if they are not in use, but you can fix some glass bowl or light shade kit to the underside of the fan to make them disappear entirely. The bare version of Air Shadow comes for $499.95, but the extra lighting kits escalate the price up to $899.95.
