The human-like Actroid DER2 fembot robot which made its debut at NextFest 2006 is now available for rent from its makers Kokoro, a division of Sanrio which specializes in robotics. The elegant fembot is dressed-up in a smart white t-shirt displaying ‘I love my Hello Kitty’ slogan. The feminine robot features lifelike silicon skin and can deliver natural expressions. Its limbs, torso and facial expressions are controlled by a system of actuators powered by pneumatic pressure. She can even choreograph her motions and gestures with her voice. The high-quality robot is available at a reasonable price with varieties of costumes to choose from for more opportunities to make better use of it. The Actroid DER2 fembot will cost you around $3,500 for 5 days.
