This solar garage from Japan-based Sankyo Tateyama Aluminum calls for the super-rich to go green without disturbing their lifestyle. “M. Shade,” (M. frontage Solar Shade) has a Photovoltaic power generation capacity of 2.52kw and it can accommodate two cars maximum. The carports feature a total of 12 solar panels that provide 2,235kW per year. Sankyo says this is enough to cover about 50% of what a typical household needs on a yearly basis. M.Shade comes for a price of $40,000, which excludes the installation costs.
